Who Can Join?

Here at 1st Bury Scout Group we have a Cub Scout Pack for girls and boys aged between 8 and 10 1/2 years old. This is the second section of the Scouting family. A child can join Cubs three months before their eighth birthday. They can leave Cubs to move up to the next Scouting section, Scouts, when they are aged between ten and ten years six months.

Where and When Do they Meet?

Cub Scouts meet at Scout HQ every Wednesday evening at 6.30pm and finish at 8.00pm during school term. We do not meet during school holidays.    

What Do Cub Scouts Do?

Cub Scouts do lots of exciting activities. They enjoy making friends, sharing, playing games, going on visits, trying new things, keeping the Promise and helping others. All the activities they do encourage the Cubs to learn about themselves and others, explore their community, work together, be ceative and care.

How do I Join?

Drop by and visit us when we meet on a Wednesday evening at 6.30pm and talk to one of the Cub Scout Leaders
